One of my questions when I first began this project was, "which should come first, melody or lyrics?"
I think I've found the answer to my own question, but it is a frustrating answer.
I think the answer is that "it depends". I know, it's a classic. So, I'll break it down a little bit more.
I found that one can't simply write original lyrics then find an original melody to go with it. They come at the same time. As I was writing the lyrics, I was already singing them in my head, and the melody really worked. It's been stuck in my head all day, so it must be catchy.
Just what I was looking for :)
Mission accomplished?…….almost...
